What is a resin surface?
A resin-based surface is basically when you have a decorative or coloured based gravel (or fine aggregate) ‘glued’ together using a high-quality polyurethane resin.
Are resin surfaces hard-wearing?
Resin surfaces are extremely hard-wearing and relatively low in maintenance. Resin surfaces are permeable (allows liquids or gasses to pass through) and comply with SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) resulting in a reduced flood risk.
Where can resin surfaces be installed?
Resin surfaces can be installed both internally and externally and have both domestic and commercial applications. Perhaps the most common uses are internal flooring, driveways, patios, footways, cycleways, car parks and commercial properties.
What are the main advantages of a resin bound surface?
• Environmentally friendly
• Slip resistant
• Easy maintenance
• Choice of colours (and decorative elements)
• Weed resistant
